Description
For nature lovers, head up the east coast to Loru Conservation Area, which preserves some of Santo’s last remaining lowland rainforest. A mecca for birders, you may encounter the rare Vanuatu Megapode and other endemic bird species such as the Vanuatu Kingfisher and Streaked Fantail, as well as coconut crabs and a micro-bat cave, during your 1.5 – 2 hour trek with local guides. Finish with a fruit platter at the local village. A great option for those who love the outdoors! Mosquito repellent, enclosed shoes and cold water is a must.
